Foster Friends of Oviedo, a grassroots community and growing Facebook group of volunteers, in cooperation with iPrevail International Foundation is organizing an intimate night of wine, food and friends to benefit the foster kids from Friends of Children and Families. Come join us on April 26 (Wednesday) from 6-8pm at Cafe Panuzzo. Live Acoustic Music by John Lofgren from the String Theory.
Though most don't see them, several children who've weathered prior abuse and neglect now live in our neighborhoods and communities, within our foster care system. And while the system meets their basic needs, these vulnerable kids often have additional needs, related to the trauma and disadvantages in their history. Please join us to support foster children who live among us. $30 suggested donation. We will serve 2 glasses of wine and heavy hors d'oeuvres.
